is changing pace this year after a decade of teaching the 4’s and will be teaching in the 3’s, as well as continuing her role as Assistant Preschool Director. Her favorite thing to teach is the alphabet and adds her own special touch to make it interesting. She enjoys listening to the children talk about their favorite things and enjoys telling the children about God and incorporating academics. Mrs. Holihan holds several degrees--Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, and will be completing her Education Specialist Doctorate Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Ed.S.) in December. She has little free time since God has blessed her with being a wife, a mother to five children, working full-time and taking online classes. She and her family are very involved in the ministry of First Baptist Church. Her four oldest children attend Valley Christian Academy and the youngest is at VCP.
is attending college working toward a degree in Early Childhood. She grew up in Santa Maria (she has attended First Baptist Church since she was in 4th grade!) where she met her husband. They have one daughter, and she enjoys watching her grow. She enjoys working with and listening to the preschool children. When not at VCP, "I enjoy spending time listening to Christian music and growing with my church family."
